Widget finishes her OAJ with a first place and then moves up to Excellent A and earns her first AXJ leg too !

August 2006
At just a week past her first birthday, Widget earns a 3 point major in Greenville SC and tops the weekend off by earning the final 2 legs toward her Rally Novice title, earning 1st place one day. She then moves to Advanced, earns another leg, a score of 99, and 1st place.

June 2006
Widget participates in her first Border Terrier National Specialty. She makes the cut in her 9-12 month puppy class and gets 2nd place in Novice Rally with a perfect score of 100.

We have enjoyed our first year with our Parson Russell Terrier so much, that another terrier was inevitable.

We’d like to thank Mary Oppermann for entrusting us with our newest addition.

Applegarth Whirligig, better known as Widget, joined us at 13 weeks old. We are confident that Widget will become Mary’s 7th generation of CH and performance titled Border Terriers.

Widget is a brilliant little dog and has a work ethic that rivals any other dog in our house. She has started training for agility, obedience/rally, earthdog and conformation. She is one busy puppy, but she has the desire and determination to do it all.
